『にじり口効果』はしばしば設計の際にクライアントに説明をする。説明は「効果」について。設計が意図する事が何かを伝える際には私の設計では欠かせないのであった。
Japanese Tee Room has NIJIRI entrance. I can say "miniature tea room entance". I will challenge This explanation. Because it is indispensable in my design.
これは札幌は中島公園にある小堀遠州作とされる茶室、『八窓庵』
This is a tea room in Sapporo, Nakajima Park. That is supposed to be produced by Enshu Kobori. " Hassouan"...This tee room has 8 windows.

赤丸部分がにじり口になる。一般には縦横共60cm～70cmのとても小さな入口です。この小さな入口が内と外の境界になります。
The red circle is the entrance, "miniature tea room entrance". It is about 60cm～70cm both vertically and horizontally. This is very small entrance. This small entrance is the boundary that separates the inside and the outside.
これは平面図。外観視より私が描いたものなので正確ではないかもしれないが、ほぼ、間違いない。

拡大すると・・・八窓庵は２畳間になる。実に狭い、最小限の空間がある。但し、狭い入口から入ると、その２畳が広い世界に見える事になる。これが『にじり口効果』。
When expanding･･･ " Hassouan" is 2 tatami mats.There is a very small and minimal space. However, when you enter from a narrow entrance, the inside looks wide. This is the effect of NIJIRI entrance.
伝わるでしょうか？知るには、実体験しかありません。実際に体感すれば、必ずなるほど！と思う事が出来ます。たった二畳の空間が宇宙の様に感じられるはず。
Could I explain it ? There is only real experience to know really. If you experience this, you are able to undesrstand. The Space of only 2 tatami mats should feel like a universe.
